Elder Hikimai Johnson

Elder Hikimai Johnson was called to serve in the California Riverside Mission. He entered the MTC in Provo on October 29, 2008. He along with 12 other missionaries left the MTC for Riverside on November 18, 2008. We received several letters from him and he is enjoying his mission. His companion is Elder Klinker, who is from Montana. Elder Klinker goes home in February.

Hikimai is serving in Hemet, CA a small agricultural city. They have the opportunity to attend the Redland Temple each month and they attend as often as possible. In his last letter home, Hikimai crashed on his bike while mountain biking with one of their investigators. He crashed a few times because he was speeding and ended up on his face. He said that he is fine and will be sending pictures soon. So keep a look out for the pics.

If we should happen to stop by San Diego, I'm sure we may just stop by and see how the mission is going. Just like Dad them did when I was on my mission...oh, wrong one! LOL!
